After releasing 1.58.124 Chromium: 117.0.5938.62 on Thursday, we began to see reports on Saturday morning that users on older versions of Windows 10 couldn’t launch Brave after updating, and started running into a Entry Point Not Found issue due to lsEnclaveTypeSupported. Users on Chrome also experienced this issue.
Google responded via https://support.google.com/chrome/thread/234827907?hl=en&msgid=235106432 and then released 117.0.5938.88 on Friday night as per https://chromereleases.googleblog.com/2023/09/stable-channel-update-for-desktop_15.html.
The quickest way to resolve the above issue is to install 1.58.127 Chromium: 117.0.5938.88 over the previous version. Doing this won’t remove the previous profile or users data. It’s simply replacing the older version with a new version. Users can use the following links for their specific channels:
