Not able to download file due to "Blocked by your organization"

Description of the issue:

I can’t download files from twittervideodownloader dot com .
When I try to download videos from there I get the Message “Your organization blocked this file because it didn’t meet a security policy”. It does however work on Microsoft Edge.

However my PC does not belong to an organization, since it is my private PC.
I have already tried the flag “Override download danger level”, disabling all protections under brave://settings/security, checked for the chrome Policy ExternalProtocolDialogShowAlwaysOpenCheckbox , checked my windows control center internet options and there are also no policies in brave://policy/ .

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. go to https://twittervideodownloader.com/
  2. input any link from a tweet with a video
  3. click the download button
  4. right click → save as

Expected result:

The video should be downloaded.

Can you please go to brave://policy/ and check and see if any policies are enabled here?

Hello, as mentioned in the Description of my Issue there are no policies under brave://policy/

Apologies for missing that.
Can you please try creating a fresh profile (Menu --> More tools --> Add profile), then closing your original profile window and test to see if you get the same behavior when only the new profile window open?
