No sync option in settings

My brave browser simply does not have a sync option. I go into settings, hit the search icon, type ‘sync’, and nothing at all comes up. Combing through settings manually yields nothing either. Any help would be appreciated.

I doubt any of this matters, but here are all the specs on my PC:
Brave version 1.4.96 Chromium: 80.0.3987.132 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Dell Inspiron 24, Model 3464
Windows 10 Enterprise, 2019
Intel®, Core™ i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.71GHz

Edit: I successfully synced my phone and home computer this morning without issue, and am trying to get my work computer in the chain.

If there is any other data I can provide that would be useful I’d be happy to do so, but I don’t have the foggiest idea what could cause “settings loss”, so I don’t even know where to begin.
