No audio on any website, had to download the beta

Env:
Ubuntu 2004
Version 1.8.95 Chromium: 81.0.4044.138 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Issue:
As title, Brave isn’t playing any audio from any website

I tried:

  • Disabling hardware acceleration
  • Creating a new profile
  • Audio volume and mute settings
  • All the above with a reboot

In the end I installed Brave-beta, that works fine.

Brave-beta version
Version 1.10.76 Chromium: 81.0.4044.138 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)

I would rather not have to use the beta but will do for now I guess so I guess this report is an fyi.
