No audio in the brave browser

I have brave installed on HP laptop running Windows 10 Home version 22H2

No Audio is available when using the brave browser. All audio works fine when using chrome.

I have checked the audio settings in windows and everything works fine.

I added a new profile and still no audio.

Open Brave and play something. Right click the tab and make sure tab or site aren’t muted.

Next go to Start Menu\Run
and copy/paste the following line and hit enter

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe ms-settings:apps-volume

Check the output option for Brave is default.

Still no sound. Brave was set as default in settings @ 100% vol.

Is there any visual clue on the meters in that window or in the volume mixer to suggest audio is playing at all?

Tried the suggestions, No Luck.
Brave was set to default and vol. was at 100%

No indicators showing input, volume works in all other apps / browsers. Brave is the only app / browser not working.

Thank you for confirming.
I’ve reached out to some team members for more input on this. In the meantime, can you go ahead and try downloading the Beta build of the browser and tell me if you get sound when using the Beta?

Note that downloading/installing/running the Beta will not affect your current install in any way.
