New tabs are bad, how do I revert changes?

Description of the issue: The new tab design is very frustrating and I NEED to get rid of it ASAP. It makes me unable to just flick my mouse cursor to where the tab is and click the top of my screen because there now an empty space above the tab. (Screenshot attached)

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu): Windows 11 ; Brave v 1.68.128

Hi,
You will most probably not like the answer, but I’m afraid that at the moment there is only one solution to this matter: You’ll have to re-enable brave://flags/#brave-horizontal-tabs-update
This will increase the entire tab bar height again, but you won’t have to struggle with your cursor hitting the tabs at the screen’s top. The “empty space” however will not only stay, but even expand at the lower end of the tab bar.

Hopefully Brave will overthink their inherantly bad UI choices…

I switched to Vivaldi, right after this incident…

No I don’t like this change at all… So it’s either ugly as hell or unusable?
