I’d like to put a suggestion forward could you provide an option where you could launch a new private window from the desktop & taskbar like other chrome based browsers?.

You already can from the taskbar. You have to right click on the Brave icon in the taskbar and you’ll see that option. As for desktop shortcut I am not sure.
I’ve found that you can only do this when a normal Brave window is open If you totally close the browser & click on open new private window it does not work.
