Website translation feature in Brave works extremely slowly compared to Chrome, and often results in error.

Same problem here. Fresh install, creating a new profile doesn’t change anything.
It takes about 10-15 seconds to translate a page, compared to the 1-2 seconds with Edge or Chrome.
A good test website is www.taobao.com, normally I will translate a product page.
By the way, it would be great if I could translate images too automatically.

This problem still exists. Chrome translator just can’t compare to brave translator - Chrome one translates most websites instantly, while brave takes 10-45 seconds to “think”

Any news on this? The translation is slow as to be almost unusable. It works perfectly fine in Chrome.
