The ad removal should be done by the author, but given the extension hasn’t been updated since 13 November 2019. Similar to extensions that insert ads into google searches with happens too often.
Most of the functionality of this extension can be done via an adblocker or even Brave.

Ah okay, I thought (going by the screenshot it was blocking various social media domains/companys.
can this advertisement in the extension can be blocked by brave.
I did try, but it wasn’t blockable. Gathering because it’s not a website.
