Description of the issue:
Sometimes when typing in a text field, if you try to move the cursor, the keyboard will stay up but the rest of the page will display another open tab. For example if I am on twitter.com writing a tweet, and try to move the cursor (by tap/hold/dragging in the text box), and have reddit open in another tab, it will show the contents of the reddit tab above the keyboard. As soon as I start typing again, or tap the visible page, it returns to what it should be.
Note that this is inconsistent, but happens fairly frequently (4 or 5 times a week). Once it happens it happens consistently on that page at least until reloaded, and often continues to happen on various pages for a while (an hour or so maybe, I don’t have exact statistics).
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Have multiple tabs open
- Type some text into a field on one of the tabs
- Try to drag the cursor to edit some already entered text
- Get lucky and have bad luck as this isn’t consistent
- See content from a different tab displayed
- Tap the screen or try typing and see it go back
Expected result:
You can see the cursor move because it keeps displaying the current tab
