Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?
- While using Brave with around 8 tabs on my macbook pro
- I got a notification from the system saying that the battery is draining rapidly (from 80% to 30% in less than an hour)
- within the notification it says the reason behind this is brave software
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.49.132 Chromium: 111.0.5563.147 (Official Build) (x86_64)
Additional Information:
I tried both enabled and disabled hardware acceleration and same thing for both

Which websites? Does it occur with no pages open or in private window mode?
It happens in almost all websites, i can’t know presicly as I open many tabs.
One of them is elementor editor for wordpress
It’s becoming a nightmare for me guys!
Battery went from 20 to 6% in few minutes with only two tabs opened (Netflix, Instagram) !
I’m afraid if you cannot fix it I’m going to change the browser for good.
disabling HW acceleration will increase CPU usage, test in private window mode
Just tried it, nothing changes.
The only thing that works for the moment is Enabling battery saver mode
