Description of the issue:
When enabling hardware acceleration on an M1 Macbook Air (macOS Sonoma 14.3.1), the following glitches make Brave unusable:
Extension icons don’t appear in toolbar:
Neither in popout menu:
Search/URL bar is empty while typing:
Certain websites, like Outlook webmail have text missing (I should see the message list):
Disabling hardware acceleration solves all of these.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Enable hardware acceleration (on by default) in Settings / System
Expected result:
No glitches.

1.62.165
Additional Information:
Works correctly on an Intel mac.
