Lost BAT Brave Rewards tokens due to new Brave Browser update

Hey. I just updated the new Brave Browser. Due to this update I lost over 10 BAT tokens granted ad Brave Rewards. I am located in Germany. How do I get those back and why did this happen actually?

Hey @steeven. Unfortunately this solution of yours does not work. It looks like you are encountering here a bit more serious problem.

My Brave Wallet contained 4.4 BAT before the update of your latest version of Brave Browers and now the wallet with the correct key in place only indicates 2.2 BAT. The recovery key is in the place, on backup as your guidelines indicate and is the one I have saved once I have started using the service.

Additionally as well Estimated rewards pending were showing 7.4 BAT before the update and now there is only 1.1 BAT. Again, the wallet recovery key is in place.

So should I restore the wallet with the key or what because the instructions say backup and everything is done by the book now, but still the lost BAT’s have not recovered.

What OS and Brave version are you using? Is the BAT from Grants, or Ads?

I am using macOS Mojave 10.14.6.

Brave is up to date
Version 0.70.123 (Official Build) (64-bit)

And all the BAT are from Ads

Hey @steeven do you have any update where I can find my lost earned BAT tokens? It is not very pleasant to loose tokens based on a browser update. Like mentioned the key is in place but it has not recovered the lost tokens, not pending rewards, not wallet contained.
