Description of the issue:
Let my pc on for the night, I like to listen to music while i’m sleeping. Woke up to a cute update page welcoming me to the new internet ! Every single one of my passwords were gone. I’m logged off everything. Checked my settings tab and the passwords were empty.
Had to manually reactivate the favorite websites bar, which still contains everyone of my favorite websites. My search history is here aswell.
My personal data ( fav websites bar and passwords ) were originally imported from Firefox; idk if that has something to do with it ? Did the update not take into account imported data ? I have no idea but I’m pissed - these passwords are essential for me to work.

I honestly have no idea, I’m not a tech guy at all. I just left my pc on for the night and Brave auto updated my passwords to oblivion.

The sole password that was saved is the one I just made ten minutes ago to be able to post this thread.

Not to have my passwords deleted when I wake up lol

Only once for now, I don’t know if theres been any other updates on this Browser since I started using it, I was on Firefox until now
Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Windows 10 x64, last version of Brave i suppose considering it auto updated without even asking me while I was sleeping : 1.9.80
Additional Information:
I literally have no info except that I woke up to an update that wiped my passwords without a warning. I’m seeing similar topics suggestions while I’m typing this thread, all dating back to different years ( december 18, october 19 ) but none of them have tech replies in them.
If it’s possible to get a dev reply as to why that happens and how I can get my passwords back ( if the update didnt erase them all ) that’d be great.
