Lost all access to visit facebook.com randomly and instantaneously

I was merely using facebook and suddenly the page disappears to be replaces with

Sorry, something went wrong.

We’re working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.

I can’t go to ANY link or page on facebook.com yet all other websites seem to work ok and if I open chrome browser facebook works fine.

I don’t know HOW to reproduce the issue, it just happened. This issue is in previous posts but NO solutions that I could find. BIG issue, one that may see me leaving the browser if it’s not addressed.

Brave is up to date

Version 1.41.100 Chromium: 103.0.5060.134 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Do you have any extensions installed/enabled? If so, does it still happen with them all disabled?

Does the issue occur in a Private window?

Are you using ‘Secure DNS’ settings in Brave? What if you turn it off?

Is anything set in brave://flags ? (Anything with a non-default setting will be sorted to the top, and will have a blue dot next to it.)

If you go to brave://settings/shields/filters and ‘Show full list,’ is anything checked there?
