Live stream on ICC TV not working in Brave but works fine in Edge

Live Stream Not Working on ICC TV in Brave (Works in Edge)

Issue:
I’m trying to watch live matches on ICC TV using Brave Browser, but the live feed video does not play. However, the same live stream works perfectly fine in Microsoft Edge.

What I’ve Tried:
I’ve already tested and confirmed that this is not a geo-restriction issue. Additionally, I have tried the following troubleshooting steps in Brave, but none of them worked:

• Disabling Shields (Trackers & Ad Blocking)
• Enabling Widevine DRM (brave://settings/extensions)
• Clearing Cache & Cookies
• Trying Private Window
• Checking for any extension conflicts
• Toggling Hardware Acceleration (on/off)
• Updating Brave to the latest version

Additional Details:

• Brave Version: Version 1.75.180 Chromium: 133.0.6943.126 (Official Build) (64-bit)
• Operating System:

• Edition: Windows 10 Pro
• Version: 22H2
• OS build: 19045.5487

Does the issue occur in other browsers? No, the live stream works fine in Edge.

Has anyone else faced this issue with ICC TV or other live-streaming platforms? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

@ssxetri7 what happens when you try to play? And is there anything in particular you’re trying? I just visited and it seems to play just fine. Like I just went to https://www.icc-cricket.com/tournaments/champions-trophy-2025/videos/south-africa-open-with-big-win-over-afghanistan-hindi-highlights-champions-trophy-2025 and it played:

Same with Live. Like I just went to https://www.icc-cricket.com/videos/3rd-t20i-indonesia-v-bahrain

It’s playing on my screen but blacks out on screenshot because of their protections.

It happens with live streaming videos. When there is live match, It says “Video is not working” in a black screen.

@ssxetri7 so if you click on the link of the video I have going right now, it’s not loading? And doesn’t matter if Shields are on or off, right? The https://www.icc-cricket.com/videos/3rd-t20i-indonesia-v-bahrain

Other thing I might suggest is to activate same filters and settings of mine just in case it matters.

And site settings isn’t different:

I set the same filter setting as shown in Image. Now It’s Playing. Thank You. It Helped.
