LIve stream and any embedded video plays audio but only black screen

I tried playing any live stream and though the audio plays, the screen is black

1.This can be reproduced by playing any live stream on any website
2. Also includes embedded videos like videos for products on Amazon.
3. Videos play just fine on my mobile devices in the app.

I expect to be able to view the live stream. It plays fine in Firefox and Chrome.

Hi,

If you disable Hardware acceleration in brave://settings/system does it help? Any sample sites/links I can test with these issues?

Thanks for the reply. I just found that to be the solution when I came here to post it and there was your answer! And for me it was:

Settings, Additional Settings, System, Use hardware acceleration when available

But your URL (would that be the correct terminology) is the most direct approach.
