Hey, I would like to implement a LinkedIn iframe into a website. For some reason, it displays correctly on browsers like Safari, and Chrome, … just on Brave it leaves a blank space.
Turning off the Brave Shield works, but there should be a way in implementation to not require users to do that, since I only used the embed directly copied from LinkedIn:
<iframe src="https://www.linkedin.com/embed/feed/update/urn:li:ugcPost:7036043547334057984" height="733" width="504" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="Embedded post"></iframe>
Also important to mention maybe that only opening the URL from the iframe work’s fine.
Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration? I ensured for the tests that I use the default, anyways there should be a way to embed LinkedIn no matter which cookie/tracking settings (I know that the issue is primarily on Linkedin’s side, but there should be Dev settings in brave to show it and block cookies automatically)
Does the site work as expected when using Chrome? Yes, but the iframes show a “accept cookies” badge … which also is not that cool, but it works!
Brave version: v1.48.171
