Leo AI to retain previous instructions

So, I was using Leo AI to summarize a website docs, It did a great job.

But I wanted it to format text according to my text style; and it also did that after I told him.

So, I thought I would summarize the next page, but when I tried. It forget all previous instruction like what to summarize (main points)/my preferred way of text format. it just falls back to default way of doing

So, I was wondering if there is way I can fix it like I’m not using it right?

Might you fill in some detail, here:

“But I wanted it to [ ? ] my text style”

Sorry, can you check it again or do I need to provide examples? I edited the post

You are OK. Possibly, Brave team member @B-Lee may be able to assist you - or might know whomever is the Brave developer.

Every time the sidetab with Leo is cleared, either manually, or because you moved to another page, it forgets everything. What I typically do is I have a text document with prompts that I find myself using often and I can easily copy paste them. If you install a clipboard manager you could even set shortcuts for each specific prompt to bring it quickly to Leo. If you’re mobile, your kinda SOL I’m afraid; you can still do the copy-paste dance but it’s way more awkward than doing it on a real keyboard.

On one hand I’d love it if they allow us to customize the hidden context that is passed to Leo (i.e. “You are Leo, a helpful AI assistant blah blah”) so that we can customize it. But on the other hand that would automatically make requests very identifiable since all my requests would use a specific context, and all of your requests would use another.

Chat History is coming and available in Nightly now. You’ll need to turn this flag on at brave://flags. #brave-ai-chat-history

thanks for the reply, I use espanso to store all my text snippets for my copilot AI, I think you’re right I could use it for Leo as well, But still i found it very repetitive to do every time the website changes. I don’t mind it to be honest, but it should reset only when the website domain changes, but it also changes on the subpages of the website.

But thanks for the suggestions, Though I’ve been using it already on copilot. By the way which clipboard manager you use?

I use “clipman” on XFCE. When I used Windows many years ago I used “Ditto”.
