Latest Update Fails to Install

Description of the issue:

Update issued via Google Play store fails to install, no error beyond a general failed to install from Updates menu in Google Play.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Currently running –

Brave 1.31.90 Chromium: 95.0.4638.69 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Revision 6a1600ed572fedecd573b6c2b90a22fe6392a410-refs/branch-heads/4638@{#984}
OS Android 11; Build/RP1A.200720.012

  1. Google Play offers update dated Nov. 9th

  2. Updated version downloads and fails on installation with no discernable error reported to end user

Expected result:

I expected a smooth upgrade however it may be a broken build was pushed to Google Play
