Keep getting Fake malware popup warnings when browsing www. SHORT-FACTS.COM/who wrote oh come to the alter


The malware warning that my iPhone has been infected will pop-up very soon.

iOS 15.6.1

Brave Browser ver 1.45.2

Browse for the following by searching for from this browser:

Who wrote oh come to the alter

Select the result that has the following url
Www.Short-facts.com

Either one or the other malware warnings will pop up shortly after that site opens.

Hello there @DLM could you please try deleting your cookies from the app to see if the issue is solved?

  1. In Brave, open the main menu, then Settings --> Privacy. Note: You can also select Menu --> History --> Clear browsing data
  2. Select Clear browsing data

Let me know if that works.

@DLM I just tested on my iPhone and replicated. Just so you know, way to stop it is to enable `Block Scripts on that page from the browser widget.

In the meanwhile, I’m also going to move your topic over to Ad-Blocking as that would be the proper category. That will at least let @fanboynz see it and he can work on filters later if it’s possible.
