Is there a way to import bookmarks from a previously exported file from another browser on another system?

Is there a way to import bookmarks from a previously exported file from another browser?

Description of the issue:
Brave browser dialog for importing files (Windows10) currently does not allow user the select a file from their file system. If I’ve previously saved/exported my Favorites from another browser (such as IE or Edge on another system & would like to import them in to brave. How do I do it?

I tried importing the favorites into edge from a file first, & then selecting the Microsoft Edge option on the Brave-Import_bookmarks_and_settings dialog but that didn’t seem to work either

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
See image step 1 /See image step 2

Expected result:
An option in the Brave-Import_bookmarks_and_settings dialog to import from a file

Reproduces how often:
Every time - I believe an assumption was made by developers that users would only be installing brave on systems that already had other browsers with established favorites (unless I’m missing something)

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Win-10 / Version 1.5.113 Chromium: 80.0.3987.149 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Did you export bookmarks (from another browser) as HTML?

Yes! I exported the bookmarks as HTML. I was able to import them on a flash drive from one PC to another from IE to Edge for example.

If you export your bookmarks as HTML, then try import it to Brave using “Bookmarks HTML file” @onfile

There is no other way to export them other than HTML. I’m not sure what you’re suggesting. I’ve tried importing the Favorites but it’s not working. I think it’s a bug but don’t tell the developers.

Black box. Try to import the HTML file directly to Brave.

Now your talkin! That was the right clue. Who knew that selecting Bookmarks HTML File would then bring up a “Choose a File” button? Brillient - thanks ! Problem solved - I guess I need to learn to speak Brave.
