Is it normal that i get ads if Brave rewards are turned off?

Which kind of ads (screenshot would be really helpful)? On desktop or mobile? Which OS and Brave version?

  You should get no Brave Ads if you have brave:rewards disabled.

So, it’s not Brave Ads.

I see that you have your Shield (Brave icon at URL bar) disabled for YouTube. Then it’s expected because Brave is not set to protect you from ads.

Try turning ON your shield.
