Description of the issue:
Brave browser on iOS will not open the Wikipedia app. When using Firefox on iOS, Firefox does open the Wikipedia app.
Steps to Reproduce:
Launch Brave browser on iOS. This was tested with v1.57.2 on iOS 16.6.1.
Set Duck Duck Go as the search engine in the Brave settings.
Search for the following: “science wikipedia”
The first result in DDG results is usually a link to the topic “Science” at the Wikipedia website. After tapping the link, the URL resolves to this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Science
Actual Result:
The URL is opened in the Brave browser.
Expected Result:
The Wikipedia app should be opened if the user has it installed. This is how Firefox mobile for iOS behaves.
