Description of the issue:
Searching for Driver Updates for Intel using the Driver Support Assistant and thus the Website, does not work with Shields enabled.

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? (yes/no)

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off?
Yes. Drivers are able to be searched automatically and I can continue.

Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no):
No. Fresh profile and shields as default still causes the site to break

Does the site work as expected when using Chrome?
Brave version (check About Brave):
Brave is up to date
Version 1.54.43 Chromium: 114.0.5735.110 (Official Build) nightly (64-bit)

Additional Note:
This may also be an issue with uBlock Origin. But I can file a separate issue on their issue tracker as it causes the same issue as I experience without uBO. Just wanted to test it with uBO enabled but Shields disabled just to see what would happen. The same thing happened.

I’m experiencing the same issue as this. You need to turn off Brave Shield of the Intel Driver Webpage to fully load.

If this can be tested;

brave://flags/#brave-localhost-access-permission (enable) then restart browser and re-test intel website

Hello. Thank you for getting back to me. Enable that flag and then going to the intel website worked. I got prompted for localhost access, then said yes and refreshed the page. The website functioned as it should after that.
