I installed brave a month or two or more ago and yes it was much faster than firefox with adblock plus and duck duck go addons and how pleasant not to get ads.
Yesterday it told me ‘can’t update, pls try new version’, so I did.
Version 1.2.43 Chromium: 79.0.3945.130 (Official Build) (64-bit) I’m running Linux Mint 17.1 ish.
Now after loading a page it seizes up for 10-15 seconds if you try to scroll a page, it’s not usable like that. Someone has broken it.
Please can someone fix this???
There’s a couple of other minor things: 1) on the new tab page if you pin a recent page you can’t un-pin it. 2) even if you block autoplay videos some of them if not all still play, some have sound and some follow you around the screen.
