I'm having 2 profiles and one additional is added on each restart (after I deleted it)

Issue: I’m having 2 profiles and one additional is added on each restart, even when I deleted it.

My setup:

  • MacOS BigSur Version 11.3.1, M1
  • Brave Version 1.35.100 Chromium: 98.0.4758.87 (Official Build) (arm64)

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Create two profile
  2. Shut down browser
  3. Restart browser
  4. Delete newly added Profile “Person 1”
  5. Shut down browser
  6. Restart browser

Expected result: “Person 1” doesn’t exist, but it does :slight_smile:

/Users/user_shortname/Library/Application Support/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser/

Hi @289wk , thank you! Unfortunately the directory doesn’t exist on this path (please see attached image). I added this as a comment to the Github issue thread as well.

Do you know whether this is different on a M1 MacBook?
