I’m finding another browser. I’m fed up with Brave not allowing users to customize their own experience. It’s the height of not being user friendly.
I admit that I’m not the most technologically literate person but I’ve tried everything I know, even using AI, to try to get my customized Brave settings to stay put and locked in. Nothing works. Nothing. N.o.t.h.i.n.g. They’re reset to default after every update or when you close Brave. I’d rather be spied on and have my information collected than deal with this anymore. There’s NO reason why Brave can’t allow users to keep their customized settings or, at the very least, allow our settings to be exported for when they’re set back to default with the next upgrade or when Brave is closed again.
What’s more is that this is the most common complaint I run into online about Brave and it’s the longest running complaint against Brave. I’m done with it. I’ve reached the limit of my patience and just wanted to let Brave know.
And, for the record, Leo is literally (and I use the word “literally” literally, the worst AI I’ve ever seen. It’s just as frustrating to use as the browser settings.
