@selimtosun38 Hi and welcome to the community.
I am a crypto newbie so don’t know a lot about. To me, it seems like your ETH is on the Binance blockchain. Below is a related topic that may help.
I don’t understand which network to send?
My understanding from reading the post:
On https://chainlist.org/ it is this one:
If you are adding manually, at brave://settings/wallet/networks, click the Add
button to the right of Add Networks
At the Add new network
display, enter the BSC Mainnet information provided in the linked post.
Mainnet
Network Name: Smart Chain
New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
ChainID: 56
Symbol: BNB
Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com
However, when I actually tried to use that information to connect BSC in my Brave Wallet:
-
https://chainlist.org only brings up a metamask wallet connection and even if I try to click that “just to see” nothing happens.
- If I add BSC manually, it prompts for information not provided, including chain’s currency name, chain’s currency symbol, and chains currency decimal. I tried various combinations of BEP20, BNB, and 18 and it would add the network but the token name/display is off and I only had the Send option, not any Buy/Swap options.
So, can’t really help. Someone with more expertise/knowledge on how to do this will have to help. Sorry.
Found this recommendation to add these three RPC URLs instead of just the one listed.
Recommend
- https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/

Still looking around. Will let you know if I find any other useful information.
Also, per above, missed this in the linked post:
Swap in BSC is not available in release version yet. Recently it was pushed in Nightly, link.
So, just wondering why no Buy option at this point.
Found this reddit post. Looks useful. Just edited my entry to match.
What is the “Chain’s currency decimals” option for when adding a network to brave wallet?
So, I guess I now I have access to BSC. Only questions are the funky looking icon and should the Buy option be available.
@selimtosun38 If you cannot get chainlist.org to work, just use the reddit post to add the BSC network to your Brave Wallet. You will then need to switch from the Ethereum Mainnet to the BSC Mainnet and add your ETH as a Visible Asset.
Let me know if it doesn’t work and we can try to troubleshoot. Hopefully, someone who knows what the heck they are doing will drop in and help.
P.S. this is what the icon looks like in my wallet. lol
@selimtosun38 Looking at your address on Etherscan (in the link you posted), you transferred ~0.013 ETH from Binance to your Brave wallet address.
And then withdrew ~0.01 ETH to another address, paying ~0.003 ETH as Gas fee. That’s why you don’t see any funds on your Brave wallet.
You can see transactions in your Brave wallet by going to Accounts
> Select the account.
@Aman_M Thank-you Aman.
And wow, I sure messed that one up! lol But I did learn a lot, so all good for me.
@selimtosun38 sorry I hijacked your thread! I did warn you I was a crypto newbie.
