I transferred my ETH from binance to brave wallet but it is not visible. I selected BNB on BNB smart chain. How can retrieve If i selected wrong chain.
@runekingthor you’re not even showing a screenshot of your balance or anything. You just are on deposit screen. Also, your screenshot shows you withdraw ETH, so why do you have BNB circled?
Anyway, show picture from your portfolio, not the deposit screen.
@Saoiray I circled BNB cause while depositing ETH I mistakenly selected BNB on BNB smart chain because I used BSC20 on my binance account so I thought i have select that instead of ETH on ethereum mainnet. withdrew my ETH on binance on attached image’s address(similar). so, Did I lose those ETH or there is a way to recover?
thanks. It is visible now.
@runekingthor I marked as solved but let me confirm, you are saying you see it and everything is good, right?
yes, I’m able to see it. but now how to sell it or send it back to my binance. Every time I’m trying to withdraw, it is showing me a error of insufficient even if i selct half instead of max. @Evan123
@runekingthor do you have BNB in your Brave Wallet? If all you have is the ETH you transferred over, then you would be lacking gas as it mentions.
To move anything on Binance Smart Chain you must use BNB from Binance Smart Chain
To move anything on Ethereum you need ETH from Ethereum.
To move on Optimism you need ETH from Optimism
To move on Solana you need SOL from Solana.
List goes on.
In any case, I’m assuming you’re just lacking the BNB to pay for the gas to send it anywhere.
