How to strip referrals from links you click on in Brave?

So, I have been using an extension called “NoRef” which apparently is no longer in the Google Extension store and Brave says “This extension violates the Web Store policy.”

So, I did some digging around and I came across a post from a Chromium development blog from 2020 talking about

A new default Referrer-Policy for Chrome: strict-origin-when-cross-origin

So, I went to brave://flags/#reduced-referrer-granularity which took me some very interesting experimental features in Brave, but nothing to do with stripping referrals from URLs you’re going to. Does Brave this do this automatically via some setting?
