Description of the issue:
Using Brave on Linux Fedora 39. The disk of my account got full 100% and it seemed that it has corrupted my Brave configuration as now, when I launch Brave, the processes are running but the navigator isn"t displayed (only a transparent window).
=> Brave cannot be used.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Probably by having a full file system where the user configuration files are stored
Expected result:
Having the navigatoir opened and usable.
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.65.114 Chromium: 124.0.6367.60 (Build officiel) (64 bits)
Additional Information:
If I rename the profile folder (~/.config/BraveSoftware) and run Brave, it creates a new profile and Brave navigator is opened and displayed. But I have lost all my favorites and I didn’t find a way to recover my favorites from the broken Brave profile
I have 2 questions :
- Is there a way to repair the Brave profile ?
- is there a way to recover the favorites from the corrupted profile ?
