How to change Touchpad Scrolling Sensitivity?

The touchpad scrolling sensitivity in brave browser is very high.
Websites like YouTube etc. are scrolling down to the bottom just by using two finger touchpad scrolling.
Kindly fix this through an update.
Is there any other way to resolve this issue?
My browser is on Version 1.73.101
I am on Windows 11
Touchpad is integrated with computer

Please edit your Original Post (“OP”), above, to include:

  • Brave Browser version numbers
  • Computing device Operating System
  • Touchpad information (integrated with computer, or attached via USB, touchpad)

Also, locate your Graphics / Hardware Acceleration switch in Brave Browser Settings, and test it: Enabled / Disabled.

I tried the graphics method but it is still not resolving my issue

Maybe

In a Brave Browser New Window, go to

brave://flags

Search for Smooth Scrolling, and disable that.

I tried the way you mentioned but that didn’t work😔

@RyukenIshida could you confirm the following:

  • Does this also happen on Chrome?

  • Are you saying this happens on all websites or just specific ones?

  • Is your zoom level on each site the default or has it been changed? If zoomed in, obviously will make it seem to be faster or more sensitive as it has less space to travel

  • Have you tried looking into your OS settings?

    • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad.
    • Adjust the Scroll and Zoom sensitivity to a lower setting. (or perhaps check

No, it does not happen on chrome
This issue is on every website
Zoom level is default on every website

Thanks for sharing, @RyukenIshida. It’s interesting you’re saying this is only on Brave.

Thought I remembered there being more settings in the Touchpad area than I’m seeing in your screenshot. I’m not sure if it’s under the More touchpad settings or if perhaps what I’m thinking of is gone.

Just to confirm, you said there’s no difference regardless of whether Smooth Scrolling is enabled or disabled from brave://flags?

@RyukenIshida I actually believe that the smooth scrolling flag needs to be enabled when this behavior occurs. Can you please go back to brave://flags and check and make sure you don’t have any other flags enabled? Then, go ahead and enable the Smooth scrolling flag, restart the browser, then check and see if the issue persists.

Yes there is no difference.
Can i get your mail id so i can send you the screen recording because it says new users cannot post attachments.

I tried the way you mentioned here but its still not working.

Have you explored the possiblity of using a Synaptics touchpad driver?
