I’ve been using a program online, and it got an update. Unfortunately, due to to caching, it’s stuck on the previous version. Is there a way to hard refresh a site on mobile, like you can do on desktop by shift+click the reload button? Or at least some way to delete all browser cache?
@ego-lay_atman-bay,
You can clear cache/site data in History --> Clear browsing data
. You can also do this for a specific website by going to Settings --> Site settings --> All sites
, tapping on the site in question (note that you can also use the search icon at the top of this page to search for the site) then tap Clear and Reset
.
I’m on ios which doesn’t have a page for settings. I can share a screenshot if you’d like.
@ego-lay_atman-bay,
Apologies – I somehow skipped over the iOS tag.
So for iOS, you’ll have to use the Clear browsing data
option. You can go to Menu --> Settings --> Brave Shields & Privacy
then, in the Clear private data
section, toggle the Cache
and/or Cookies and site data
option to “on”, then tap Clear Data Now
.
Thanks! I didn’t think to check in the brave shield and privacy section.
