Help! YouTube UI Missing on Brave for Android

Description of the issue:

I’m experiencing a strange issue with YouTube on Brave for Android (Version 1.65.126). When playing videos in portrait mode, only the video player shows up. The rest of the YouTube UI is hidden behind a black screen. I’m using Brave Shields for ad blocking. Any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated!

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open YouTube on the Brave Browser app (Android).
  2. Play any Youtube video.
  3. Rotate your device to portrait mode.
    Only the video player is displayed. The rest of the YouTube UI is hidden behind a black screen.

Expected result:

The entire YouTube UI, including the comments section and recommendations, should be visible alongside the video player in portrait mode.
