I did as you said when it pop up and ask to send me notifications i said allow and i hit the button at bottom to send test notification and nothing happend.
Also check the site settings and it days notifications allowed
@Shaneandrew304 then this suggests you have settings on your OS to prevent notifications. Can you take a look at your Android notification settings to see what you have it set for? And then check also to see what you have allowed/disallowed for Brave specifically.
I check that as well notifications are allowed could i possibly reset my rewards profile and just reconnect everything. Would that work?
@Shaneandrew304 you’re speaking about in your Android’s settings and not Brave’s, right?
You could since it’s Uphold, so long as your country isn’t on any of the lists at https://support.uphold.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026786712-Non-Supported-Jurisdictions. I’m only mentioning because some countries have lost support and anyone who resets or tries to connect a new device/profile (which resetting would cause it to be seen as) won’t be able to link anymore, whereas otherwise legacy ones stay connected. Just a warning to give before resetting as not sure where you’re from.
Either way, I’m assuming resetting won’t make a difference because you said that the notification test failed. That is showing that something is blocking the notifications. I’m assuming it’s another app or the phone settings itself.
I do tknow what it is i have tried everything. I sign out of up hold disconnected app integration on there end and reconnected again. Im not sure what it could be
@Shaneandrew304 you’re mentioning signing into Uphold and all, but that isn’t the issue. You have been saying that you were connected. The problem as has been stated a few times now is that your phone is blocking notifications. The solution will be in your Android settings most likely and nothing to do with Brave directly.
I’m saying that because of your two replies as quoted above.
I check the android settings notifications are allowed. All my phone settings are like they should be i guess i could try to reset my phone and re download brave
