Do you have any extensions installed/enabled? If so, does it still happen with them all disabled?
Does the issue occur in a Private window?
What if you create a new profile and try it in that profile? (Make sure your original profile does not have any open windows; only the new profile should be open.)
OK. Generally, this strongly suggests an extension being involved.
OK. Let us know if you change your mind, as it takes about 30 seconds and is a tremendously valuable troubleshooting step. If it isn’t worth 30 seconds of your time then it appears the value is low.
If you’re not wanting to create a new profile to test (which as @JimB1 stated, is a very useful test), then I would recommend clearing your browsing data (specifically cache and cookies/site data) for “all time”, then try and login again.
I too am having the same issue. I have already done all of the things that you have suggested to this guy, and everyone else on the forms that are having the same problem… Has there been anyone who has explicitly stated that they were able to fix this particular problem with Gmail and Google account? Yes, my issue is still present. I just use the private browser and that works just fine on my iMac. Funny enough, on my MacBook pro with the same extensions installed it works as normal. No idea.
The problem persists for me as well on the newest update. 404 on every other Google product besides YouTube.
