Description of the issue:
When ever I open brave and just have 1 tab open on screen there are other 7 or 8 tabs that show that are open in the task manager, closing brave doesn’t work, resetting or turning off also doesn’t help Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3. Must have on start up settings keep all tabs when closing window (or something like that)
1 open brave and creat x amount many tabs
2 make 2 diferent windows of brave by graving a tab and pulling it away from the others
3 close the window with bigger aount of tabs by clicking on the left top x fo the window
4 close the other window by closing each tab
5 open brave again
6 check task manager and see the ghost tabs

Those are not ‘ghost tabs’ those are normal processes run by the Browser.
You don’t run 1 process for everything for security reasons and for stability.
Every extension is a process, every tab is a process, every utility service is a process which is about Network, sound, GPU process is an individual process, the browser itself is a process, the Renderers are also individual processes, plus every website can have an isolated process on it, which means more processes being used by the Browser to isolate processes for security reasons.
If you took 5 minutes to research how MODERN Browsers work, you wouldn’t expect a single process for everything.
Next time use Shift+ESC which is the internal Chromium/Brave’s task manager to know exactly what process is what, obviously Windows Task Manager is a terrible idea to use unless you use Edge which works fine with it.
