Force to open a new window as a new tab and in the window i`m using

Hi, when I click on a link with a javascript, it always opens a new window, so I have to right-click on the top bar, click “Show as tab” and then move this tab with the left button to have it next to the others I was using.

This only happens on the Sony Bank web page, here is the link:

If you click Sign-In you can see the behavior (you don’t have to log in for real, but if you do, inside almost all links have this behavior and it’s very annoying).

I`m using Brave Version 1.73.104 Chromium: 131.0.6778.204 (Official Build) (64-bit), on Windows 11 Pro.

Can someone help me solve this?

@Steam it’s the way the website has coded things to work. You’ll notice it does the same on Firefox and other browsers.

I’m pretty sure it would need some messing through things like Tampermonkey. But not quite sure what to edit.

Will tag in @fanboynz just to see if he had any suggestions but not aware of anything that can be done via Shields and this isn’t an ad or anything.
