Hello,
I would like to propose a new feature for the Brave browser that would significantly improve the user experience on large screens, such as my 35-inch monitor.
Issue: When I maximize my browser windows for focus and visual comfort, responsive websites stretch to fill the entire width of the screen. This can make the content hard to read and sometimes distort page elements. This situation is particularly uncomfortable on large screens.
Proposed Solution: I propose adding an option to the Brave browser toolbar that allows users to activate a “Fixed Resolution Mode.” This feature would keep the website layout at a predefined resolution, regardless of the browser window size. A dropdown menu could offer standard resolutions, enabling users to select the one that best fits their setup.
Benefits:
- Improved Readability: Maintains consistent text size and layout, making it easier to read content.
- Increased Flexibility: Allows users to choose the fixed resolution that best suits their needs.
- Enhanced Accessibility: Provides a better browsing experience for users with specific screen configurations.
I believe this feature would add significant value for Brave users, especially those with high-resolution and large-format screens.
Thank you for your attention and consideration.
Best regards,
