“Error: Device limit reached”

Briefly describe your issue:
“Error: Device limit reached” when trying to connect new devices, i am a linux user and i reinstall my os a lot i did some research i think i hit a limit, you can check all the devices i have i only use 3 of them(android as my phone, my laptop, my desktop.) and other old connections should not be active…
i also have a ticket but i got no respond to my last mail. 245540

I sent my ad id but I have not gotten a response, it’s been two days.

Did your issue got resolved?
I encountered the same issue because uninstalling and reinstalling brave. My hard drive was not functioning properly, it was not responding properly sometimes, so I tried many OS.

Consequence of this process was that all my braved profiles got flagged and device limit issue is still there unresolved. There is no update on support ticket as well.

Hope, you don’t face the same consequences as mine.

the problem is not solved, the last time I got an answer was Feb 13;

Please note, this is highly irregular to receive this error and are working on a solution.

also, i found a backup of old brave files so I can probably activate it on my laptop using those saves but that’s it.

I know it can take time to figure things out, much longer and more complicated than we tend to think or realize as users. I know I tagged @Evan123 on this on the 12th, so I’m assuming the response you got the next day was from where he pinged someone to look into it or was looking into it himself. So at least they tried to provide you a bit of an update on it.

I’m sure they are likely working on it. Hopefully will get you some more info this week. Appreciate your patience on it.
