Can you please give us an option in the accessibility settings or appearance settings to force webpages to present the content in dark mode when there is system wide dark mode enabled?
there is a way
go to chrome://flags/
and go to
“Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents”
Go chosen the one you wanted
but i recommend the one with “Non image element”
but will invert everything and you can turn it on and off at anytime too.
Or you can use extension like “Dark reader” in chrome extension store.

Thanks for highlighting this issue. I did try enabling the flag but the behavior is not what I am looking for. I have my windows PC on light mode during the day and dark mode at night. So, I want the setting to automatically align with the system-wide setting. That is not how the flag is working. Once enabled it immediately applies dark mode to pages.
