Description of the issue:
When I play a video on fullscreen, be it a video or a livestream, from any platform, as I alt-tab to check other windows, new window previews show in the alt-tab list with the video/stream I’m watching. First one, then two, then three, etc. Not every time I alt-tab a new clone alt-tab preview window is created, but it happens often.
Once the video or stream has ended and I close the tab or window with it, the cloned tab remains as a window title bar shortened with no content in the alt-tab list. If I select one of them, nothing happens. If I click the X button to try close them, nothing happens. The task manager doesn’t show any Brave process still being ran. The only way to get rid of the clone windows from the tab list is restarting the PC.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Play a video or stream from any site on fullscreen.
- Alt-tab to other windows. Sometimes once is enough, other times twice or thrice… how many times for each clone is not fixed and I can’t tell any difference between the times a clone is created and when it’s not.
Expected result:
No cloned alt-tab list windows should be appearing.
