Downloaded youtube videos in playlist can’t be played

Description of the issue:
I cannot play downloaded youtube videos via the playlist feature. It does not start playing the video and shows no error message. Restarting/reinstalling/redownloading does not resolve the issue

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Add video to playlist
  2. Save to offline
  3. Play

Expected result:
Ability to view video offline, which worked up until circa 3 weeks ago

Encountered the same bug. Disabled offline downloads as a workaround to get playlists working but offline play does not work.
