Does Brave block fingerprinting or falsify fingerprints or both?

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

1.Set Shield to strict fingerprint blocking
2.browse some number of sites
3.Look at number next to “fingerprinting blocked” box in the Shield

Expected result:
Some number greater than zero on at least some sites.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.28.105 Chromium: 92.0.4515.131 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
Since Strict fingerprint blocking always shows 0 in the Shield, is Brave really blocking nothing, or maybe it’s falsifying values instead of blocking and showing 0 since it is not technically blocking?
