Disabling History

I want to disable history for all (even non-private) windows. Yes, there is an extension (History on/off) which can do that, but it also disables back/forward buttons and I don’t want them to be disabled. Also, I don’t want “Reopen closed tab” to be disabled when I disable history. I remember that Chrome had a setting like “Delete pages from navigation buttons when they are deleted from history” (in flags section) which helped me but now there is no such setting. As I know, Firefox has a setting for disabling history, for example.

Thanks for the feedback @kamran.

Brave will implement “Clear browser data on exit”. If you choose, you can clear selected browser data like history, cache, etc to be cleared whenever you quit Brave.

If not changed, this option will be available with 0.63.x release.

Thanks

Did this feature ever make it in? This is exactly the functionality I was looking for, but I can’t figure out how to toggle it on.

Thanks

@Zemekis clear on exit already available with latest release.

Go to brave://settings/clearBrowserData or use shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows).

This is not what I want. I want to disable (not delete on exit) history on regular (not private/guest/TOR) windows without disabling back/forward buttons.
