Description of the issue:
On brave Windows desktop, after importing bookmarks form chrome desktop, selecting the only chrome entry listed (shown as “chrome person 1”), the chrome “Other bookmarks” folder and its contents are imported (and appear inside folder “imported from chrome”) but the chrome “Mobile bookmarks” folder and its contents (which are present on chrome desktop) are missing.
How can this issue be reproduced?
1.
Happened on initial install with copy bookmarks,
and 2.
happens again whenever done via menu item “import bookmarks and settings”.
Though then end up with two “imported from chrome” folders.
In both cases “favourites/bookmarks” was the only item checked to be imported.
Expected result:
Both “Other bookmarks” and “Mobile bookmarks” should be imported.

Chrome Version 108.0.5359.125 (Official Build) (64-bit) … up to date version.
A similar post appeared in May 2020, the suggestion there was to first “try syncing your phone’s chrome app with your desktop chrome app”.
In my case they are already synced across desktop & 3 android devices, and “Mobile bookmarks” and its contents are present on chrome desktop.
Since tried going via Edge.
All bookmarks, including mobile folder, transfer fine from chrome to Edge.
But brave bookmark import from edge, again only copies favourites bar and top level folder “Other favourites”.
