Deezer says it doesn't support Brave browser any more


Description of the issue:
It is impossible to play songs on deezer.com
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open deezer.com
  2. Try to play a song
  3. Deezer displays the following notification: “The version of your browser isn’t supported by us any more. Update your browser or download our desktop app to continue to enjoy your music.”

Expected result:
Deezer should play the songs.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Brave 1.56.13, Chromium 115.0.5790.136

Mobile Device details
Android 11; Build/RP1A.200720.011 - Xiaomi 11S

Additional Information:
Playing songs on Deezer via Brave Android browser used to work very well during the last few months.

I checked it with an older Brave version, and voilà:
Brave version 1.52.130 Chromium 114.0.5753.198 is able to play songs on Deezer.
So, the error must be in the update of Brave.
(Brave 1.56.16 is also unable to play songs on Deezer!)
Please fix this. :slight_smile:

can you test with deezer.com##+js(brave-fix) in brave://adblock custom rules, then reload deezer webpage

I understand that I go to the website “brave://adblock” in Brave browser.

But I am not sure where to enter "deezer.com##+js(brave-fix)"

very bottom of the page at brave://adblock large text entry box labeled custom filters.

I tried it - but, unfortunately, it doesn’t help… The same error message on Deezer appears…
