Deactivate translation of sites

Dear Brave,
In spite I am french in France, I would like to have Brave in english.
And I do not want to have Brave translating anything. I have tried to mention english as my favourite language in the parameters, but nothing happens.
Can somebody help me ?

I am using Brave 1.66.110 on mac OS Ventura 13.6.7
