Cursor in the URL in any new tab

Hello everyone,

On iOS, and maybe on other platforms, when we create a new tab, we then have to select again the URL to enter text in it.

It would be much more efficient if any time we open a new tab, from within the app or a quick action menu, the cursor is already in the URL, and Brave showing the keyboard, ready for us to enter an URL.

Thank you for reading me.

Guys, please?
No answer on that? It’s a pain in the ass and so easily fixable…

100% agree, have signed up purely to suggest this feature. Which by the looks of it has (understandably) been a feature request for several years but not resolved sadly.

Would be a quick fix, and speed up the use of new tabs in Brave phenomenally.

+100 This is super annoying. There is another request as well here: Place cursor in URL bar for new tab (iOS Keyboard)

It looks like nobody care. Too bad… really.

This is so needed because new tab page is almost empty on my device, waste of screen space may as well have keyboard ready

4 years and not a single reply to such a simple request. Really wanted to use brave but back to chrome… I open hundreds of tabs a day and I guess they want me to hit ctrl + k constantly. Lame…

omg, i didn’t know the shortcut of ctrl + k, i’ve been hitting the bar with my cursor every time
